Experience

Ed set up The Bristol Residential Letting Co with Emma in 2004.  They originally worked from home before opening the Clifton Office in 2006 and the Southville Office in 2012.  Setting the business up from scratch has meant Ed has had to deal first hand with every aspect of the business.  With a brilliant team in place Ed now concentrates his time working with new and existing landlords to build their property portfolios.  He has great relationship with Developers and Estate Agents in Bristol and really understands how the Bristol market operates.

Little known fact

As a qualified Rugby and Cricket Coach when not working or with his family Ed can be found coaching at Clifton Rugby Club or Bristol Cricket Club.

Experience

Emma set up The Bristol Residential Letting Co with Ed in 2004. Emma instigated many of the systems we use today and is responsible for the financial side of the business. She understands the importance of  paying landlords on time and her department has a fantastic track record of rent collection. Although scheduled to work only three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, you wouldn’t notice it.

Little Known Fact

Emma has a strange liking for sporting mascots.  On her ‘hen do’ she dressed as a lion and was the mascot for Walcott Rugby Club !

Experience

Deborah has worked in the letting industry for over 10 years following a successful career in selling new build homes.  As a Director Deborah uses her many years experience to provide vital advice to both new and existing investors.  Whether you are buying your first property or expanding your portfolio Deborah is always on hand to provide the necessary insight into the Bristol market.  She also manages the Clifton office on a day to day basis and is always there to provide help and support to her team.

Little Known Fact

Deborah has been a devotee of Barrecorre since it arrived in Bristol from London in September 2016.

Experience

Don has a BSc Hons Degree in Property Investment & Development. Originally from Northern Ireland, he has been living and working in Bristol since 2008 and is proud to call it home. He joined the team in 2012 as a Lettings Negotiator, progressing to Senior Negotiator and then Branch Manager. He gets his kicks out of meeting new Landlords and delivering on his promises to them.

Little Known Fact

Don heads down to Cornwall each year to enter the World Pasty Championships to showcase his pasty making skills. He boasts 3 first places and a second place so far.

Experience

Danny joined the company in 2011 and after an 18 month spell in Estate Agency re-joined in November 2017. Danny has worked in property since 2004 and holds ARLA and NAEA qualifications. When not helping Investors or out meeting new Landlords Danny works alongside the Director, Deborah Hadley with running all aspects of the business.

Little known fact

Danny is a keen traveller and tries to visit at least 2 new countries every year. He is also a season ticket holder at Ashton Gate and is an avid fitness enthusiast.

Experience

Born in Bristol, Josh began his career in lettings in 2013 to try something new. Having joined the team in 2015 he hasn’t looked back since. Josh loves meeting new landlords and using his infectious personality along with his knowledge of the industry to rent and take on new properties.

Little Known Fact

With football being a huge part of Josh’s life outside of work, he is extremely proud that he has met and had a photo taken with the famous 1966 World Cup winning England centre forward Sir Geoff Hurst after winning a football tournament as a youngster.

Experience

Amy joined the team in 2013 and has been working in Property Management since 2005.  Along with her common sense approach and her attention to detail her tenants and landlords have really taken to her. Amy’s portfolio centres around Clifton and the Harbourside.

Little Known Fact

Amy once lent eye liner to Amy Winehouse before her first ever Bristol gig! She also travelled to 5 different countries in 2016 and aims to beat that soon.

Experience

Edmund joined the Property Management team in 2013 after a background in insurance. After originating from Bournemouth Ed now knows Bristol very well and has established himself as a vital member of our property management team.

Little known fact

A keen fan of boxing and graffiti art Ed is passionate about living in South Bristol.

Experience

Andy is a local lad having lived in Ashton and Southville when growing up. Having fallen into the property industry back in 2005 he has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Having joined the team back in 2014 he quickly progressed to Senior Property Manager.  He enjoys problem solving and being able to think outside of the box.

Little Known Fact

Andy and his wife are both owned by a Dachshund called Lottie who has enrolled them  into a local Dachshund club. This involves monthly walks with other people owned by Dachshund’s and often involves meets with up to 50 of them causing chaos & mayhem.

Experience

Melissa originally joined the The Bristol Residential Letting Co in 2006.  She managed the property management department for nearly 10 years before leaving to concentrate on her family.  Now her children are a little older she has returned to work and is a real asset to our business.

As Senior Property Manager she has responsibility for a large portfolio of properties.

Little known fact

With much of her time taken up with her young family Melissa struggles to do as much dancing as she would like.  In her youth however Melissa took a course in Russian dancing.

Experience

David joined The Bristol Residential Letting Co in 2018 after a number of years in retail operations.  With a track record of problem solving and an ability to work under pressure David is a great Property Manager.

Little known fact

In his spare time David is a very talented musician and has recently appeared on television as a member of a backng band on The Voice.

Experience

Megan is born and bred in Bristol and has a background in administration.  She enjoys the variety that a career in property provides her.  Megan’s role is to support Amy (Senior Property Manager) to make sure her property portfolio is up to date and is available to help landlords and tenants when Amy is out the office.  Megan’s positive attitude makes her an ideal person to ensure the smooth running of the property management department.

Little known fact

Megan once won a Captain Morgan Rum limbo competition whilst on the Whitsundays Islands in Australia.

Experience

James joined the company as Lettings administrator in 2014 having moved to Bristol from his hometown near Exeter. With a background in customer service he keeps a cool head while managing maintenance and tenancy matters. James prioritises regular communication and being accessible to all his landlords and tenants.

Little Known Fact

James is currently working towards visiting all of the pubs and bars in Bristol.

Experience

With a first-class honours degree in Architectural Visualisation Damien has a real passion for property.  He has had experience in a number of property related roles before joining The Bristol Residential Letting Co in 2017 and is now really enjoying the challenges that comes of being a property manager.

Little known fact

Damien has a Siberian-Husky cross Labrador or a Husk-ador as he refers to it. ‘Quercus’ ( Latin for Oak Tree) comes from a litter of 8 and Damien still meets up with Quercus’s  siblings and loves going for walks in and around the city.

Experience

Angela has been working in property management and accounts since 2008. She joined The Bristol Residential Letting Co. in early 2017 so that she could specialise on the accounts side of lettings and property management.  She has a wealth of knowledge, understands the importance of paying landlords on time and her department has a fantastic track record of rent collection. If you have a question on your account then just call Angela – she takes great pride in the job she does and is bound to know the answer.

Little known fact

Angela is a Formula 1 fanatic – she likes nothing better than siting down to watch a race with a glass of her favorite Prosecco.

Experience

Karen joined the team as Inventory Clerk and Lettings Administrator in 2013, coming from a varied background of care, customer service and hospitality.  Karen adapted well to this role and learned quickly before progressing to the role of Tenancy Manager in 2014.

Little Known Fact

Karen once “starred” as an extra in Skins (along with half of Bristol), and volunteers with a local Brownie pack where she is known as “Tapir”.

Experience

Emma has been working for The Bristol Residential Letting Co. since 2016.  Having spent time working in both our offices Emma is also a qualified inventory clerk.  Emma has progressed to the position of Tenancy Manager in the Clifton office where she is responsible for referencing tenants and making sure all tenancies are entered into correctly.

Little known fact:

As part of the grand opening for the new, state of the art hospitality unit at Emma’s secondary school, she greeted Kevin McCloud and served him lunch.

Experience

Sam joined the team in 2018. Sam joins the team with a background of managing properties in her private time while working in sports rehabilitation & strength conditioning. Sam felt her skills and future lies in the property sector and is thriving in her role as Lettings Administrator.

Little known fact

Sam has been in the army reserves. She once competed in the civilian Winter Fan Dance over Pen y Fan in the Breacon Beacons.  This 24km SAS selection route is one of the toughest around and offer civilians the chance to test their strength and fitness.

Experience

Paola joined the company in 2006 and has become a formidable lettings negotiator. Using her Italian charm she is relentless when it comes to renting properties, if Paola can’t rent it then nobody can.

Having grown up in Florence she is passionate about art.

Experience

Kat moved to Bristol in 2015 from Newark in Nottinghamshire.  With a number of years experience in the letting industry Kat loves helping applicants find their new home.  She is enthusiastic, tenacious and is always prepared to go the extra mile.

Little Known Fact

Her pride and joy is her French Bulldog called Tank and she was also accepted on an early outreach scheme into Sheffield University to study medicine at the age of 16.

Experience

Max joined the team in April 2018. Max is the 4th generation of his family to work in the property industry. He felt a career in lettings was a natural choice following in his parents and grandparents footsteps. Max thrives on maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction while working hard to find his tenants their ideal home.

Little known fact

Max is an avid traveller and aims to travel to 50 countries by the time he is 30.

Experience

James joined the team in 2018 after honing his customer service skills in the hospitality industry.  With his experience including a stint working in a Bristol cocktail bar James really enjoys working with the general public and is a trained mixologist.

Little known fact

James’s favourite cocktail is a Sazerac, a classic brandy or rye whiskey based drink with an absinthe rinse and bitters. Known for its strength and healing abilities James swears by it !

Experience

Gavin joined The Bristol Residential Letting Co in 2013 and quickly established The Bristol Residential Letting Co as a member of NICEIC.  With over 20 years of domestic electrical experience Gavin is an expert when it comes to looking after tenanted properties.

Little known fact

As a Bristol City season card holder, Gavin is a big football fan. He would like to visit all 92 football league grounds and is currently around half way through

Experience

Matt joined the company in 2014. With a background of domestic, commercial and industrial electrical contractor experience, Matt plays an important role in making sure our properties are kept to the latest electrical regulations and are well maintained.

Little known fact

Matt can play the piano despite being unable to read sheet music and never having any professional lessons.
